  1. Deputy Manager- Audit (Ref: IAC/DMA/001)

Key responsibilities: The appointee will amongst other things:

-Review final accounts balances for completeness

-Review policies and processes and propose amendments for business efficiency

-Plan audit visits and investigations

Requirements: Our ideal candidate should:

-Possess B.Sc in Accounting with a minimum of 2nd Class (Upper Division), MBA and ACA

-Have a minimum of 10 years post professional qualification experience in a reputable Audit Firm or a related Manufacturing Company

-Be proficient in the use of Sage X3 ERP and other accounting softwares

-Have strong analytical skills

-Have a high degree of integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision

-Not be more than thirty-five (35) years of age

2.  Assistant Manager- Audit/Controls (Ref:IAC/AMAC/001)

Key Responsibilities: The appointee will amongst other things:

-Review raw/packaging materials planning and ensure uninterrupted operations

-Supervise monitoring of raw/packaging materials deliveries to ensure completeness

-Review recruitment and placement of outsourced staff and cost effectiveness

Requirements: Our ideal candidate should:

-Possess B.Sc or HND in Accounting with a minimum of 2nd Class (Upper Division), MBA and ACA

– Be proficient in the use of Sage X3 ERP and other accounting softwares

-Have strong analytical skills

-Have a high degree of integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision

-Not to be more than thirty-two (32) years of age

Project Overview:

The Feed-the-Future Nigeria Agribusiness Investment Activity is an anticipated five-year project funded by the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID). In supporting conducive enabling environments, the Activity will broaden opportunities and incentives for firms and entrepreneurs to invest in the agriculture sector, and thus contribute to employment and income growth.

The project is expected to have three objectives:

2. Access to Finance

3. Investment Promotion

Chemonics is presently accepting applicants with experience working with agribusinesses, financial institutions, private sector, business development services, state and federal level partners on policy and financial reform. Experience working around either Benue, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Kaduna, Kebbi, and Niger is preferred.

-Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced education degree preferred for technical experts

-Experience working in Agribusiness, Finance, Investment, Business Development Services, or Business Enabling Environment Policy reform preferred.

-Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop partnerships with private and public sector

-Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred for some positions
